But first I would like to introduce you to the promised foods that you can use to replace eggs. Uncomplicated and delicious. I'll also show you where to get them.

1. Starch

Vegan alternative for eggs as a binder and thickener.

Vegetable starch is neutral in taste and is the ideal substitute for eggs in baking. Cooks recommend, mix about two tablespoons of the starch with three tablespoons of water, to replace one egg.

2. Tofu

Useful egg substitute as a binder and for thickening.

I wasn't aware of this egg alternative for a long time. But with oat flakes (is available here*) you can use the egg as a binding agent in a really uncomplicated way.n Meatballs, pancakes, potato pancakes and many more of your creations.

It is said that about 40 grams aquafaba replace an egg. So don't throw it away, but use it sensibly as a plant-based egg substitute!

15. Tomato paste

Useful egg substitute as a binder and for coloring.

If you're not sure what your next Burger patty without using egg, then simply use this tomato paste* from the glass.

1-2 tablespoons of it is already enough to replace an egg. It binds well and only has a minor effect on the taste. Rather, it can change the color of the dish.

16. Mashed potatoes

Ideal to replace eggs as a binder
