Why is animal welfare so important?
Animals are sentient beings and can feel pain, fear and pleasure, just like you and me. Animal welfare tries to protect their right to integrity. Unfortunately, animals do not speak our language, which makes animal welfare by humans even more important.
Why should I get involved in animal welfare?
Animals are incredibly grateful for their rescuers and protectors. Your work to protect animals underlines your big heart and makes not only the animals, but also yourself happy. Not at least because you save and enlight the lives of other sentient beings simply by following your heart.
How can I help animals in everyday life?
You can help animals in your everyday life, by a plant based diet, the purchase of products with without animal testing, by adopting an animal from the shelter, by reporting animal cruelty to the police or by avoiding to consume fashion with animal fabrics (e.g. down, leather or silk).
Also by collecting garbage from your environment, by making your garden bird friendly or a by creating a wildflower corner, you are having an impact on animal welfare.

Hello Christoph, thank you for all the quotes, one of them I have very large for years on my car placarded and I would love to stick ALL 55 quotes around my car! I would like to have an idea how I can save worldwide if possible all animals from humans. Then allerdimgs I would have to change worldwide the murderous and stupid conscienceless "homo sapiens" and it kills me that I can not do that. Simple animal protection is not enough for me and I am on the search to change something on a large scale and despair about not being able to do more after all.
Hello Ingrid! I'm glad you like the collection. I can relate to it quite well. We may not change the world overnight, but over months and years. Look in the post Become a vegan activisthow you can get involved in animal welfare and inspire people.
Many greetings,
Christoph
Thank you Christoph, I will look at that. The animal welfare of all our creatures is for me the most important task in my life since childhood and I despair of the too often terrible circumstances and the permanent abuse of our incredibly wonderful animals, they deserve every help because they are helplessly at the mercy of man and mostly for profit or boundless stupidity. I feel obliged to do everything I can to protect every animal that needs help from these empathetic and evil people. A very difficult topic.
Many greetings Ingrid
Thank you so much for this great site. What an inspiration!
You have made this collection of quotes really excellent, great compliments! All the best and much joy with this work! Franz
